Most of us have old, broken or unused televisions, cell phone, computer components, etc. sitting around gathering dust and taking up space. So, what do you do with them? Where and how can you discard them responsibly? Is there a recycling service in your area? I have found an online tool to answer to all of these questions! Through collaboration between G4 Media and Earth 911 to raise awareness on the impact of electronic waste (aka “e-waste”), Gcycle.org was created as a resource for details on local recycling. This project, beginning on Earth Day 2007, is intended to continue indefinitely in order to assist and educate consumers. I hope this is helpful to all of our Zolve Referral Network members who may have e-waste to recycle, visit http://www.gcycle.org for more information on e-waste recycling in your area.
